1) Fill pot with water and a splash of vinegar (for easy peeling).

2) Completely cover eggs with water, but it’s not necessary to fill the pot.

3) Heat water to a gentle boil.

4) When the water boils, hop up from your knitting and remove pot from heat. Set a timer for 1 minute and let eggs stand in the hot water.

5) Carefully dump hot water into the sink without spilling eggs into the dirty dishes.

6) Run VERY cold water over eggs. I don’t bother with an ice bath.

7) Dump out the now warm water.

8) Run more cold water into the pot and let sit until eggs are cool.

9) When eggs feel cool to the touch, remove eggs from water and drip dry in a bowl.

10) Starting from the blunt end, gently crack all around the entire egg. Tap and roll the egg on a hard surface. Peel and enjoy your superfood snack.
PRO TIP: The blunt end of the egg has an air pocket. Pinch the shell near the air pocket and gently peel in a spiral down to the pointed end.

OPTIONAL: Dye your hard boiled eggs with normal PAAS egg dye for an irresistible Easter project!
